A Broccoli Casserole Recipe
This broccoli casserole recipe is so good and so easy to prepare.
It includes broccoli, ground beef, potatoes and cheese.
Even kids who don't want to eat their broccoli will love this recipe.
From start to finish, this casserole is ready in less than an hour...so great for the cook in a hurry.
Broccoli Casserole
What you need
- 1lb of lean ground beef
- one bunch of broccoli
- 1 can of cream of celery
- 4 medium potatoes
- 1 1/2 grated cheese (any kind you want)
What to do
Spray a casserole dish with non-stick spray.
Peel and cut the potatoes in small cubes. Boil water and cook potatoes until just undercooked.
Clean broccoli and separate into flowerettes.
Blanch broccoli (1 minutes in boiling water).
Cook the ground beef until well done.
Preheat oven to 450F.
When potatoes are done, strain and add to the ground beef.
Mix together the cooked ground beef, cooked potatoes, cream of celery and 3/4 cup of the cheese.
Spread half of this mixture in bottom of casserole.
Add the broccoli (don't mix).
Top with the rest of the beef mixture.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.
Bake 30 minutes uncovered.
