Our Favorite Casserole Recipes
Easy casserole recipes are my favorites, along with crockpot or slowcooker recipes. Anything that pretty much cooks by itself, is my kind of cooking.
And they are usually ready in 30 minutes. Clean up is a breeze. What more could someone like me who 'hates' cooking want?
Definition of a casserole: Ingredients are assembled together in a deep dish and cook slowly in the oven, often uncovered.
They are easy to make and usually don't require too much preparation time. Make enough to use the leftovers as lunches the next day.
The casseroles recipes that I prepare often call for condensed soup, especially cream of celery, cream of chicken or cream of mushroom.
Casseroles recipes are very popular at potlucks and family gatherings as they are easy to make and you can serve them from the dish itself.
Some of these recipes listed below, I 'loosely' call them casseroles because I had to classify them somewhere :)
