Chicken Divan Recipe

Excellent chicken divan recipe and you'll be surprised how easy it is to make. Great for family dinner or when company comes over.

Dinner can be served in less than an hour, and there's hardly any preparation to do, so while it's baking, enjoy a nice glass of wine!

It was given to me by a friend a long time ago and I cook it regularly.

This recipe serves 4 but when I cook it just for the 3 of us, I simply cut it in half and it works perfectly.

Chicken Divan Recipe

What you need

  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 bunches of broccoli
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

What to do

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a skillet, heat about 1 tbsp of olive oil and cook chicken breasts till well done (no more pink inside).

Meanwhile, blanch your broccoli, in boiling water for a minute.

Drain broccoli and place in bottom of baking dish.

Place cooked chicken breasts on top.

Mix together mayo, lemon juice and curry powder. Add cream of chicken soup and mix well.

Pour over chicken and sprinkle with the cheese.

Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
