Hamburger casserole recipes are very popular. They are quick, easy and cheap to make. You'll find easy casseroles made with beef and noodle, or rice, or vegetables. Invent your own as I often do based on what you have in your pantry.
Make sure your hamburger meat is fully cooked. It's better to use extra lean ground beef, you don't want a layer of fat at the bottom of your casserole.
When I bake a hamburger noodle casserole, generally I use macaroni but lately I have discovered those wonderful Ramen noddles. And boy are they ever cheap...about $0.50 a package.
Grated cheese is the best topping for any kind of casseroles. Your dish will look really good and will taste heavenly.
