Slimming Ice Cream Heart

Valentine's day dessert
This recipe is a light version of strawberry ice cream. Made without cream or egg yolks, it is a much lighter version than the classical recipes. It is also very easy and quick, perfect for Lise who hates cooking!
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 4 tablespoons of fruit sugar (or stevia)
- 400 grams of strawberries
- 4 fat free strawberry yogurt
Method
Wash and blend the strawberries. Add the yogurt and beat again until everything is smooth. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add the fruit sugar gradually, stirring constantly.
Add the egg whites to the strawberry mixture, stirring gently from the bottom up. Put the mixture into a container, cover with cling film and store in freezer for 2 hours. Stir every 15 minutes to break the ice crystals.
If you have an ice cream making machine, you can just add the mixture and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Once finished, put spoonfuls into a heart-shaped mold and pat smooth with the back of the spoon. Turn out onto a plate and continue patting!
To serve, trickle some strawberry purée around the heart. I even made some small dark chocolate hearts to place around the big heart.
